The terms that apply when you use this store or buy from Mewdie.
Effective October 8, 2026.

1. Agreement

In short: who we are, and how these terms are accepted.

This store is operated by Ethan Wildman, carrying on business as Mewdie ("we", "us"), of 1030 Welch Road, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0, Canada.
"You" means the person using the store or placing an order.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
These terms add to your rights under consumer protection law. They do not reduce them (see section 14).

2. Definitions

In short: the few terms this page uses.

"Order" means a purchase you complete at checkout.
"Hoodie" means The Mewdie Pet Pouch Hoodie sold on this store.
"Day" means a calendar day, including weekends and public holidays.
"Business day" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Ontario, Canada.
"Delivery window" means 10–19 days from the date of your order.
"Age of majority" means the age at which a person can enter a binding contract where they live (18 in Ontario).

3. Who may buy

In short: adults only.

You must be the age of majority where you live to place an order.
You must give accurate name, address, email and payment information.
We ship only to the places listed in our Shipping Policy.

4. The product

In short: an oversized pullover hoodie with a zipped chest pouch for a small pet, in 6 colours and 6 sizes.

We sell The Mewdie Pet Pouch Hoodie.
It is an oversized pullover hoodie with a zipped chest pouch.
The pouch has a round elastic opening with a cord toggle.
The hoodie has two side zip pockets and a small zip pocket on the left sleeve.
It comes in 6 colours and in sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
The product page lists the colours and sizes.
Product photos on this store are AI-generated to show the hoodie's design and how it is used.
They are based on the maker's product photos.
The hoodie you receive matches the description in this section.
The hoodie has an oversized fit. Check the sizes on the product page before you order.

5. Using the pouch with a pet

In short: support your pet with your hand, never leave it alone in the pouch, and keep the opening comfortable.

The pouch is for carrying a small pet while you support it with your hand.
Never leave a pet in the pouch unattended.
Do not use the pouch with a pet in it while driving, cycling or running.
Keep the elastic opening loose enough for your pet to be comfortable.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for harm caused by using the pouch against these instructions.
This does not limit our responsibility for a defective hoodie, for our own negligence, or for any liability the law does not allow us to limit (see section 16).

6. Prices and currency

In short: shipping is included, bundle discounts apply automatically, and no shipping or handling fee is added at checkout.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout.
The price on the product page is the full price of the hoodie, including shipping.
No shipping charge, handling fee or other mandatory fee is added at checkout.
We are not registered for GST/HST and do not charge GST/HST.
If you buy 2 or 3 hoodies in the same order, a bundle discount is applied automatically at checkout.
Checkout shows the itemized price, any discount and the total before you pay.
If a price on the store is clearly wrong because of an error, we will contact you before shipping. You may pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

7. Placing an order

In short: you review and can correct your order before you pay; we email you a copy.

Checkout shows your items, prices, total, shipping address and payment method before you pay.
You may correct any error, or leave without buying, before you select the final payment button.
Your order is placed when you select the final payment button and payment is authorised.
We email you an order confirmation right away. It is your copy of this agreement. Keep it for your records.
We may decline or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if we cannot ship to the address given. If we do, we give you a full refund.

8. Payment

In short: Shopify Payments, charged when you order.

We accept payment through Shopify Payments (major credit and debit cards and the wallets shown at checkout).
Your payment is charged when you place your order.
We do not see or store your full card number.

9. Shipping and delivery

In short: see the Shipping Policy.

Shipping, delivery windows, import charges and delays are covered in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Orders ship from our supplier's warehouse in China, not from Ontario.
Each parcel is yours from the moment it is delivered to your address.
Until then, loss or damage in transit is our responsibility.

10. Cancellations, returns and refunds

In short: see the Refund Policy.

Cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In summary:
- full refund if you cancel before your order ships;
- full refund if your order has not arrived within the delivery window plus 5 days;
- if we cannot meet a promised date, we email you before it passes with the choice to wait or cancel;
- you may cancel at any time before delivery once delivery is 30 days past the date we gave you;
- refund or free replacement, with photos and no return needed, for damaged, defective, wrong or not-as-described items reported within 30 days after delivery;
- change-of-mind and wrong-size returns within 30 days after delivery, unworn and unwashed, with return shipping at your cost, for a refund of the item price less any bundle discount;
- refunds sent within 7 business days, to your original payment method.

11. Reviews

In short: real buyers only; nothing offered in exchange.

Any customer reviews shown on this store come from people who bought the product.
We do not offer payment, discounts or free products in exchange for a review.
We do not remove or hide reviews because they are negative.

12. Use of the store and our content

In short: use the store lawfully; our text and photos are ours.

You may use this store to browse and buy for personal use.
You must not misuse the store, interfere with its operation or try to access it in ways we do not provide.
Text, photos and other content on this store belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may not copy them for commercial use without permission.

13. Third-party services

In short: Shopify, our payment provider and carriers have their own terms.

The store runs on Shopify. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments. Parcels are delivered by independent carriers.
These services are provided under their own terms.

14. Your rights under consumer protection law

In short: nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you.

Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under the consumer protection law of Ontario or of the place where you live, where that law applies.
If any part of these terms conflicts with such a law, the law applies instead and the rest of these terms continues.
If you paid by credit card and we do not refund you when the law requires, you may ask your card issuer to reverse the charge.

15. Warranties

In short: our promises are in the Refund Policy; the law may give you more.

We promise that each hoodie will match its product page description and arrive complete and undamaged. Our Refund Policy sets out what we do if it does not.
Any warranty or condition that the law implies and does not allow us to exclude continues to apply.
To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about the hoodie.

16. Limitation of liability

In short: to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the order.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost time or lost profit.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability the law does not allow us to limit.

17. Governing law and disputes

In short: Ontario law; you keep your right to go to court.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
If you live outside Ontario, you also keep the protection of any consumer law of the place where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement.
If a problem arises, please contact us first. Most problems are solved by email.
You may bring a claim in the courts of Ontario, or in any other court that has jurisdiction under the law.
These terms do not require arbitration and do not prevent you from taking part in a class proceeding.

In short: the terms in force when you ordered apply to that order.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
